Do any of your collections or explorations into classic TV have any early Australian shows? I'd like to see what was available for the early days. Sadly, my only exposure to Australian TV was Skippy the Bush Kangaroo as a kid.

None. The oldest stuff I have is from 1979.

I can post a list of some of the surviving 1950s Australian TV episodes if you want (actually, I'd love to do that), but don't expect them to be uploaded by anyone, as pre-Skippy stuff is nearly impossible to see without visiting Australia's National Film and Sound Archive. However, Video-Cellar uploaded an incomplete episode of a huge hit called "In Melbourne Tonight". Everyone who watched TV in Australia during the 1950s/1960s remembers this series:

He has another episode which will be public domain in a couple years or so.
